Team India won the match against Bangladesh: World Cup update

Women’s Cricket world cup: Team India beat Bangladesh by 110 runs with a score of 229/7 in 50 overs.

India vs Bangladesh

Amidst the Women’s Cricket World Cup tournament, India played another match against Bangladesh on 22nd March.  Team India opted to bat first.

Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana opened the game with a perfect start, scoring 74 runs. Yashika Bhatia and Richa Ghosh scored 50+ runs in partnership. Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastrakar earned 48 runs together to direct the team to the winning position.

Stars of the match

Yashika Bhatia emerged as the leading run-scorer in the match.  India bowled out Bangladesh for 119 runs in 40.3 overs. With this win, India registered their third win of the tournament. This win has helped India to improve its run rate as well.

India has won three matches and lost three matches as of now. We wish good luck to Team India for their next match against South Africa on 27th March 2022.
