Independence Day
This day we salute our brave soldiers
They made our country independent and stronger

Thousands of them sacrificed their life
Just to keep One Billion of us alive

This day our country was free
From the Britishers who did not let us shine with glee

We must take care of our precious nation
Our India is god’s most beautiful creation

It hides a lot of mysteries unexplained
That leave even the greatest scientists drained

Be proud of being an Indian
Because here we respect each and every woman

We earned freedom on 15 August 1947
Mahatma Gandhi thought of making India, a heaven

So this Independence Day, lets take a pledge to protect the peace and unity of our nation
