Punjab signs knowledge sharing agreement with Delhi
Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann signed a Knowledge Sharing Agreement (KSA) with the Delhi Chief Minister. Arvind Kejriwal.
Knowledge Sharing Agreement
According to the knowledge sharing agreement, the two states will be able to share knowledge, experience and skills for mutual welfare for the people of both Delhi and Punjab. The agreement was signed on 26th April 2022.
The Knowledge sharing agreement is a milestone in the history of the country. Through this agreement, the two states will receive teachings from each other.
Bhagwant Mann said that the Delhi model of education will be established in Punjab as well. 117 government schools and mohalla clinics would set up to give quality education to the children. Bhagwant Mann believes that we should learn all good things, no matter where we get them from.
Benefits of Knowledge sharing agreement
Schools in Punjab need modern infrastructure and modern facilities which will be provided Punjab government on the Delhi education model.
Health centres in Punjab have expert medical staff but they lacked a good infrastructure. This agreement will improve the infrastructure. Bhagwant Mann said that he will also come up with new schemes, in order to earn profit from agriculture.
Additional advantages of a knowledge-sharing agreement
This agreement will focus on some areas like public health, public education, environment control, water supply, tourism, research and development facilities and security. Moreover, the agreement states that the two states will work on skill development, sharing knowledge in various areas and also building support centres.
Joint seminars and workshops would be organised and the two states would use the knowledge for their development and economic benefits. Punjab and Delhi would give prompt replies to each other and help in leading the way to success.
