Their Lockdown Stories
Covid-19, hearing the name itself people shakes up with fear. What a terrible danger was outside! Always wearing masks and using sanitizers. It was no less than a hell for us. Even we couldn’t go out for a minute due to lockdown. Every single businesses were hampered. Poor people had to migrate for living a proper livelihood. What a trouble it was!
But wait, it’s all about humans! Haven’t you noticed them, the heroes of the whole scene? Nothing happened to them by the way. Who are they? Not humans neither Supermans nor aliens; they are super duper animals! Applause for them!
So now we’re coming to the actual story of ‘The Crazy Pets!!’ let’s know what they say about themselves.
“Hi, I’m Claw! I’m Dr.Mishra’s pet dog, Woof! I am disappointed that master don’t stay with me and spend time. I see him on TV working in health centres from day to night. For so many months I haven’t met him. Sometimes I woof and cry at his photo for I miss him. And even I can’t go out for a walk outside alone that’s why I am becoming so fat just gobbling down biscuits, milk, fish and chicken that also by myself. I cook the fish and chicken on the induction and eat properly on the table. Woof! I loved the days when master fed me tasty, more tasty food with his own hands. Woof! Now over to my friend, Winky the parrot.”
“Hi! I’m Winky, pet parrot of Shruti. She had went to Assam for travelling and is stuck out there for Covid 19. I searched for and saw an old mask lying under the bed. That only I wear when I go out for flying. Meeting my pals keeps me energetic or else I would have became a depressed parrot by sitting alone without even playing with Shruti. I too miss her like she does. I’m forced to have only grapes and nuts from my friend squirrel and nothing else. It’s really boring! Over to Meow, the cat.”
“Hi, I’m Meow, the pet cat of Praveen. I’m becoming a bit too much lazy just sitting on the sofa because master always plays video games on the mobile phone. Meow! It seems he has totally forgotten me. I call him early in the morning for going on a nice cat walk on the roof atleast but nothing happens. Meow! So I sit and watch cartoons on the TV. Meow! Over to Pepsi, the Hamster now.”
“Hello! Hello! I’m Pepsi, the hamster of Aarna. She is really a nice girl indeed. All the time she plays with me and laughs and giggles. We don’t even mind the lockdown. She does her online classes on time and then jump on to play ‘Hide & Seek’ with me. Our lockdown time is spending in a enthusiastic way. We’re Best Friends! I love her as much as she loves me.
With this I put a full stop to four of our lockdown stories. Thank you!”
So see not only we are suffering but the pets and other animals too, some are enjoying and some aren’t. Same goes for us. These were the lockdown tales of Claw, Winky, Meow & Pepsi along with ours.
