My Expressions

Picture a poster created on a large sheet of paper, its edges a little uneven, the colors bold and joyful. It might be taped to a kitchen door or proudly held up for neighbors to see. The vibrant strokes of crayons tell the tale.

On the poster, in oversized, wobbly letters, the words “Eid Mubarak” are proclaimed. Each letter gets its own special color – a rainbow of celebration. Maybe there are squiggly stars and a half-moon that smiles down.

The Colors of Celebration

The beauty of this poster is its playful spirit. It doesn’t need to be perfect. Maybe a sprinkle of glitter adorns the mosque, or a paper cut-out bird flutters overhead. Smudged fingerprints and a slightly crooked horizon only add to its charm.

This poster is a visual feast of a child’s imagination, a heartfelt reflection of Eid. It’s a reminder that celebration springs from simple things: the joy of community, the warmth of shared wishes, and the vibrant colors of a child’s heart.
