10-year-old Indian boy among winners of 2021 Wildlife Photographer Of The Year

The Wildlife Photographer Of The Year is a photography contest organised every year by the Natural History Museum in London. They have announced the result of the contest this year and it includes a 10-year-old boy from Bengaluru.

There were 19 winning categories this year and people submitted over 50,000 photos from across the world.

Who are the winners of the 2021 Wildlife Photographer Of The Year contest?

French Polynesian Photographer Laurent Ballesta won the overall wildlife photographer of the year award for his photo called “Creation”. The photo features a trio of a type of fish called camouflage groupers.

10-year-old Vidyun Hebbar from Bengaluru, India, won “Young photographer of the year” for his photo. It shows a web of a tent spider, while a rickshaw passes in the background. He calls the photo “Dome Home”.

Other Wildlife Photographer Of The Year winners includes a photo of two polar bear siblings playing and having fun and a photo of two Svalbard reindeer fight for control of a harem (group).
