A girl from Nepal dances to set new world record

Bandana Nepal, a 18 year old girl from Nepal, danced for 126 Hours (5 days).

With this she has set a new Guinness World Record for "Longest Dancing Marathon by an Individual"
 	It is reported that she started dancing on 23rd November 2018 and continued till 28th November 2018.
 	Bandana danced at a restaurant in presence of family members, media and public spectators
 	She took very short breaks for refreshments like energy drinks, milk, and high-nutrient food
 	The teenager did a solo dance on Nepali music

Previous record holder

An Indian, Kalamandalam Hemlatha, held the record previously
 	Hemlatha, a woman from Kerala, danced continuously for 123 hours and 15 minutes in 2011
 	She performed the classical dance form Mohiniyattam and set the record at the age of 37

Bandana received the Guinness Records official confirmation on Friday, 3rd May 2019.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli honoured the 18-year-old girl for this victory at his official residence. According to reports, Bandana took up this challenge to promote Nepalese music and culture.
