A hidden treasure chest has finally been found after 10 yearsIn 2010, Forrest Fenn, an 89-year-old art and antiquities (ancient art) collector created a treasure hunt. A treasure hunt is a game in which the players are given clues (pieces of information) to help them find a hidden prize

He hid a bronze chest filled with gold, jewels, and other valuables worth more than US$1 million in the Rocky Mountains, US. This is a mountain range in North America, which covers parts of both the US and Canada.

Then, he put clues to the treasure's location online. He also put them in a 24-line poem that was published in his 2010 autobiography (story of his life) The Thrill of the Chase.

Since then, thousands of people have explored the Rocky Mountains, looking for the treasure.

Recently, someone finally found the treasure! The person, whose name has not been revealed, found the treasure and sent a photo of it to Forrest.

Forrest congratulated all the people who tried their best. He says he organised the treasure hunt to encourage people to explore the wilderness and the chance to try out an adventure.
