 	This superbug can live on different surfaces, like door handles and beds, for a long time. It causes serious infections like pneumonia, sepsis, and meningitis, which can even be deadly. What's really tricky about this superbug is that it can pick up DNA from other bacteria around it, including genes that make it resistant to antibiotics. But guess what? The AI algorithm found a special compound that can defeat it!
 	The scientists named this new compound "abaucin." They tested it on mice with infected wounds and in labs with bacterial cells, and it worked really well.  	According to the scientists, abaucin shows great promise as it specifically focuses on targeting A. baumannii. In other words, the bacteria are less likely to become resistant to the drug.
