Australia Floods – People and Crocodiles on roads!Over a thousand people have been forced to leave their homes in Townsville, Australia because of a life threatening flood. People have never seen anything like this and are struggling to deal with it.

Houses and streets are flooded.
 	Crocodiles have been seen crossing roads, and when flooding reduces, more snakes and crocodiles are expected to be seen around homes and farms.

North Australia's tropical weather brings heavy rains during the monsoon season. But the recent downpour (rain) has been much more than normal levels.
 	Townsville has received more than 3 feet of rain in the past week, which is more than 20 times the usual.
 	Officials said that wind speeds are expected to go up to 100 kilometers an hour along the coast line. Up to 20,000 homes are at risk of being flooded if the rains continue.

Climate change may cause unexpected and dangerous weather conditions around the world. This is the right time for people to start thinking and taking corrective actions.
