Boeing completes corrections to 737 Max jet software

Boeing announced that it has corrected simulator software for 737 MAX jets.

The company had admitted that faulty software was a factor in the two deadly 737 MAX crashes.

737 MAX jet crashes

The 737 jets have been grounded since March after two fatal crashes.
 	The fatal Ethiopian Airlines crash (10th March 2019) killed all 157 on board just 5 months after a similar crash of a Lion Air flight of a 737 MAX killed 189 people.
 	Boeing admitted that investigation showed sensor malfunction in the 737 jets

Software fix

Corrections have been made to a simulator software
 	Simulators mimic the flying experience of 737 MAX jets
 	A company spokesperson said that the simulator experience covers different flight conditions
 	They also shared that they are in the process of submitting a pilot training plan to the US FAA (Federal Aviation Administration)
 	The plan is on to work with the regulator to schedule its certification test flight

However, it is not clear when the 737 Max aircraft will return to service.

FAA will be extremely careful in lifting the ban on the jets
 	FAA is planning to meet regulators from around the world on 23rd May in Texas, the U.S. to update them on Boeing’s software fix and pilot training
 	These regulators will have to evaluate Boeing’s proposed fixes and clear the aircraft to fly in their regions/countries
