BTS members to join the military and then reunite in 2025!

All seven members of the K-pop boy band BTS will leave to do military service. They are also excited to get back together around 2025 after completing the service.

BTS, also called the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band that got together in 2010 and started performing in 2013.

Key facts!

  • BTS become a worldwide phenomenon since their debut in 2013.
  • Their catchy songs and social efforts focused on encouraging young people have contributed to this success.
  • Each of the band members will be required to do the requisite amount of military duty.
  • In South Korea, all able-bodied men between the ages of 18 and 28 are compelled to serve in the military.
  • Typically it is for a period of two years to protect the country from North Korea.
  • The company that manages BTS and its members are looking forward to reconvening as a group again around 2025.
  • BTS declared in June that they will be taking a sabbatical from group musical activities,
  • This was to pursue solo projects, which had led to speculation on the band’s future.
  • They reunited to give a concert in support of South Korea’s ambition to host the World Expo in the port city of Busan in the year 2030.
