China’s plans to regulate Deepfake technology!The Chinese government's plans to regulate deepfake technology. It is implementing new laws to limit the application of deep synthesis technology.
The fundamental goal is to reduce the spread of disinformation.

Because of advancements in technology, it is becoming increasingly difficult to spot deepfakes.
It's also used to make explicit videos with famous people, fake news, and commit financial fraud.

New laws in China require corporations and platforms to acquire permission before changing a person's voice or picture.
As deepfake technology has the power to create situations that don't exist yet.
As well as make it seem like real people have said and done things they haven't.
The policy also requires that users and providers label any updated content.
It should also be traced back to the original source from where it first came.
People who modify someone's picture or voice must acquire authorization.
Experts in technology say that deepfake is now being used for things like scams and hoaxes that are against the law.
Automated attacks are also used to spread false information.
In addition to trying to manipulate the results of elections.
Sometimes, it is also used to steal people's identities and take money from them.
Deepfake technology has also been used to imitate famous people like former US Presidents, Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, and Tom Cruise, among others.
