Christina Koch happy to be back on Earth after record-breaking time in spaceWe read about astronaut Christina Koch's return after a record-breaking time in space, last week. It appears she's adapting well to being back home. Er, we mean Earth!

After an 11-month stay in zero gravity conditions aboard the International Space Station, she’s re-adapting to gravity on Earth with no major problems.
 	She has no motion sickness, which is a common problem for astronauts returning back to Earth. However, she is still working to regain her balance.
 	She has had some soreness in her muscles which didn't get used at all in zero gravity. Even her neck was sore for a day or so, and she had to work hard to hold up her own head.

Koch said that after being back, she marvelled at the “sensory experiences that define Earth and the things that are here.”

“Within the first two minutes of being back on Earth, I saw more people’s faces than I had seen in a year,” she said. “So that was really exciting, it’s just fun to interact with people again.”

A trip to the beach with her husband, playing with her dog “LBD” and chips and salsa - her favourite food - is what has her attention for now.
