Deeg Palace was built by a guy named Badan Singh way back in 1730 AD. He was a big deal and made Deeg his fancy stronghold and capital. Later, his son Surajmal built a fort around the palace to keep it safe from attacks. It's like a real-life fortress, just like in the movies!
