The annual issue features the person who has influenced the people and events throughout the year.

In 2020, TIME named a 15-year-old girl, Gitanjali Rao, as its first TIME  Kid of the Year.

In 2021, the stock prices of Tesla(TSLA) rose which led Elon Musk to become the wealthiest person in the world.
Moreover, he launched the first mission to Earth's orbit with a crew of tourists.
There are no professional astronauts on this mission.
Elon Musk stated that in the future AI, that is Artificial Intelligence will take over software jobs.
AI would be so advanced that it will write the software by itself.
So the jobs around writing codes and making software will become obsolete.
Therefore, he stated to the world's youth that if you are working on something that focuses on people and engineering, it is probably good.
