Family finds a real owl in their Christmas treeEverybody likes a decorated Christmas tree. But a family in Georgia in Europe got an extra special 'decoration' when they found a real owl living in their Christmas tree.

One day, 10-year-old India called out to her mother, Katie McBride Newman saying that the ‘ornament’ on the tree scared her.
 	Actually, they had decorated the Christmas tree in the house with owl ornaments. So, the mother went to check, expecting that, but instead, she found a real owl sitting living in the tree.
 	The family kept their windows and doors open that night to allow the owl to fly away but it didn’t go anywhere.
 	So, the next day, the family called the Chattahoochee Nature Center. A worker from the centre asked them to leave a piece of chicken for the owl in case, it was hungry.
 	The worker identified the owl as an Eastern screech owl which is common in Georgia. She advised the family to leave the owl inside a crate in a dark room. After dark, they opened the crate to let the bird fly out.

Finally, the owl flew away into its natural surroundings. What a Christmas surprise!
