Filmfare awards the best in Bollywood, Gully Boy steals the show'Filmfare Awards' was held in Guwahati, Assam, to honour the best talent in Bollywood on 15-February. The awards were given for the films of 2019.

The award ceremony was attended by Bollywood artistes like Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Ayushmann Khurrana to name a few.

Here is the list of the winners of the 65th Filmfare Awards:

Best Film- Gully Boy
 	Best Director- Zoya Akhtar for Gully Boy
 	Best Actor In A Leading Role (Female) - Alia Bhatt for Gully Boy

Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male) - Ranveer Singh for Gully Boy

Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Female) - Amruta Subhash for Gully Boy
 	Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Male) - Siddhant Chaturvedi for Gully Boy
 	Best Music Album - Zoya Akhtar-  Ankur Tewari for Gully Boy
 	Best Playback Singer (Male) - Arijit Singh for Kalank Nahi (Kalank)
 	Best Playback Singer (Female) - Shilpa Rao for Ghungroo (War)
 	Best Debut Director - Aditya Dhar for Uri: The Surgical Strike

There is also a category called "Critics", where critics evaluate the movies and they do not go by popular performances and commercial success. Here are the winners announced by critics:

Best Film (Critics) - Article 15 (Anubhav Sinha) and Sonchiriya (Abhishek Chaubey)
 	Best Actor (Critics) - Ayushmann Khurrana for Article 15
 	Best Actress (Critics) - Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu for Saand Ki Aankh

There were plenty of funfilled performances by actors including Ranveer Singh and Ayushmann.

Amazon.in was the lead sponsor, Colors TV was the broadcast partner and Facebook did the video streaming.
