Whats climate?

"Climate" is the temperature, rainfall, wind and other conditions that are seen over a large region and a long period of time.

Most of India has a hot and tropical climate.

Global climate is the average climate seen over the entire planet.

We are are noticing that the Earth is becoming warmer and climate is changing across countries.
 	Scientists use *man-made satellites and other scientific instruments to collect information about Earth's land, atmosphere, ocean and ice.
 	This information tells us that Earth's climate is getting warmer.
 	It is a matter of concern for all of us as Earth is our only home.

How can each one help?

The three R's - Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle - all help to cut down on the amount of waste we create.

Plant a tree - Plants and trees help to remove the ^greenhouse gas CO2 from the air.
 	Use less paper whenever possible. Save the trees.
 	Turn off lights, TVs, computers, when you do not need them.
 	Save water - Be aware of how much water you use.
 	Ask your parents to buy reusable grocery bags.
 	Carry your drinking water in a reusable bottle.
 	Buy products that uses less packaging material.
 	Discuss with your parents if you can walk or take public transport instead of taking a car everywhere.

*man-made satellites - Objects built on Earth and launched into space to observe events in Space and on Earth

^greenhouse gas - adds to the Earth's heat
