Well met, keen learner! So, there’s this big government group called the “Group of Ministers” or GoM. They’ve got a super important job to do in a place called Jammu and Kashmir.
Now, Jammu and Kashmir used to be one big place, but it got split into two smaller parts called Union Territories. That happened in October 2019.

- The GoM is made up of some pretty serious people from the government. Ravi Shankar Prasad is the person in charge of laws, Thawar Chand Gehlot helps people get equal treatment, Narendra Singh Tomar takes care of things related to growing food, and Jitendra Singh works closely with the Prime Minister’s Office. Whew, that’s a lot of important folks!
- Guess what? Their first big meeting is coming up in September, and they’re going to brainstorm ideas to make everything nice and calm in Jammu and Kashmir. They want it to be like a big smiley face with everyone getting along.
- You know what’s cool? History shows that Jammu and Kashmir has always been a special place with a unique story. And now, it’s even more special since it became two Union Territories. That means there are new adventures and challenges ahead for them.
- So, what’s the latest story? Well, it’s all about the GoM’s superhero mission to help out in Jammu and Kashmir! They’re like problem-solving heroes, trying to fix things and make everyone happy.

- In a nutshell, the GoM is on a mission to bring smiles and sunshine to Jammu and Kashmir. They’re like a team of happy helpers, and we can learn to be kind and thoughtful just like them. So, let’s cheer for the GoM and their awesome adventure to make the world a better place! Go, GoM, go!
