Recommended for Preparatory Grades
Hey there, little chess enthusiast! Guess what? There’s a super cool tournament called the FTX Crypto Cup happening in the United States. It’s like a magical chess battlefield where the best players in the world come to play!
Chess Prodigy: Praggnanandhaa Shines!
- In this incredible tournament, we have a 17-year-old chess genius named Grandmaster Praggnanandhaa. He’s like a real-life wizard with chess pieces! He took on the junior world number one, Alireza Firouzja, who’s known as the best junior player in the whole wide world.
- Guess what? Praggnanandhaa played four exciting games against Alireza. And you know what’s even cooler? He won two of those games! Woohoo! The other two games were so close that they ended in ties. But Praggnanandhaa’s victories were enough to make him the winner with a score of 2.5-1.5!
- Oh, you know what this means, right? Our young Grandmaster Praggnanandhaa is a chess superstar! He’s showing everyone that age doesn’t matter when it comes to playing chess like a boss. It doesn’t matter how old you are; you can still defeat the best and become a champion!
- So, my dear little chess buddy, always remember that you can do anything if you put your heart into it, just like Praggnanandhaa did. No matter how tough the game gets, keep playing with passion and joy! And who knows, maybe someday, you’ll be a world-famous chess master too, making everyone smile with your amazing moves. Keep shining bright like a chess star!
