ICC T20 Women’s World Cup: Australia go through to semi-finalsToday at the 2020 ICC T20 Women's World Cup, Sri Lanka and Australia won their matches. With this win, Australia are through to the semi-finals, the second team in Group A after India.

The first match of the day was between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka won by 9 wickets, posting their first win at the tournament.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first.
 	Bangladesh scored 91 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs.
 	Sri Lanka easily chased the tally, scoring 92 runs for 1 wicket in 15.3 overs.
 	Sri Lanka's Shashikala Siriwardene was the Player of the Match

The second match was a closely-fought one between Australia and New Zealand. Australia won by 4 runs.

New Zealand won the toss and opted to bowl first.
 	Australia 155 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs.
 	New Zealand could not match the score, ending their tally at 151 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
 	Australia's Georgia Wareham was the Player of the Match.

With this win, the four teams in the semi-finals are Australia, India, South Africa and England.

Tomorrow, the matches are between Pakistan and Thailand at 9:30 a.m. (IST) and West Indies versus South Africa at 1:30 p.m. (IST).
