ICC T20 Women’s World Cup: India, Australia are through to the final

ICC T20 Women’s World Cup: India, Australia are through to the finalToday, at the 2020 ICC T20 Women's World Cup, India and Australia went through to the final.

In the first semi-final, India was supposed to play against England.

However, due to the rains, the match was abandoned completely.
 	India won by default, going through to the final as it had topped Group A.
 	This is the first time that India has qualified for the final at the ICC T20 Women's World Cup.

In the second semi-final, Australia won against South Africa by 5 runs (DLS or Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method).

South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl first.
 	Australia scored 134 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs.
 	However, as rain interrupted the match, the DLS method was used to decrease the total to be chased.
 	South Africa could not chase the new total (98 runs in total 13 overs), ending their innings at 92 runs for 5 wickets in 13 overs.
 	Australia's Meg Lanning was the Player of the Match.

The final match will be played on 8 March starting at 12:30 p.m. (IST). The venue is the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) in Melbourne, Australia.
