New Zealand is hosting the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in 2022. The matches are scheduled for the months of March and April. This year marks the event’s twelfth running.
Australia beat England by 71 runs to win the ICC Women’s World Cup in Christchurch. Alyssa Healy scored 170 off 138 balls to help her team reach 356/5 in 50 overs. England was knocked out for 285 in 44 overs. Spinners Alana King and Jess Jonassen were the best for Australia. Each took three wickets.

- Alyssa Healy hit 170 runs as Australia beat England in the Women’s World Cup Final on Sunday. It turned out that Heather Knight was wrong when she asked Australia to bat.
- Rachael Haynes and Healy made 160 runs for the first wicket. It was after Haynes left that Beth Mooney came in and made a half-century. She made 62 more runs before she left on 68 runs.
- Anya Shrubsole was the only positive thing to come out of the innings, as the pacer took wickets at a rate of 3/46 in 10 overs.
- Natalie Sciver fought on her own after England Women had the worst start. She scored a fighting hundred. In the first few overs of England’s run-chase of 357, England lost Danielle Wyatt and Tammy Beaumont for 4 and 27 runs each.
- Heather Knight also left soon to get out to Alana King for 26 runs. Amy Jones was out for 20 runs. Alana hit Sophia Dunkley for 23 runs again. Katherine Brunt also left for 1 as England went down from one end.
