The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for TATA IPL 2022 which will be held in Mumbai and Pune. Two new teams have been added to the IPL 2022 league.
A total number of 70 matches and 4 playoff games will be played over the duration of 65 days. The 15th season of IPL 2022 started on 26th March at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. The first match was played between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.
IPL 2022 schedule
20 matches each of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) will be held at Wankhede Stadium and DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. 15 matches each will be played in Brabourne and MCA International Stadium, Pune.
IPL Cricket Match update
- Kolkata Knight Riders won the first match by 6 wickets.
- Delhi Capitals won the second match by 4 wickets against Mumbai Indians.
- Punjab Kings won the third match against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 wickets.
- Gujarat Titans won the fourth match by 5 wickets against Lucknow Super Giants.
- Rajasthan Royals won the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 61 runs.
- Kolkata Knight Riders won the match by 3 wickets defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore.
On 31st March, the match will be played between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings.
The final match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played on 29th March 2022 in Ahmedabad. Until then, Curious Times sends good wishes to all the teams of IPL 2022.
