Indian women win three gold medals at Asian Wrestling Championship

Indian women win three gold medals at Asian Wrestling ChampionshipRecently, we read about the excellent performance of Indian wrestler Sunil Kumar at the Asian Wrestling Championships 2020.

Today, let us read about the outstanding performance of the Indian women wrestlers at the tournament.

They have made the country proud by winning 3 gold medals.

On 20 February, wrestler Divya Kakran won gold in the five-wrestler 68kg category at the Asian Wrestling Championships 2020.

Divya beat the junior world champion Naruha Matsuyuki and won all four rounds in the five-wrestler 68kg category.
 	With this, she became the 2nd Indian woman to win a gold medal at Asian Wrestling Championship. The first was Navjot Kaur who won the 65 kg title in 2018.

Indian wrestler Pinki also won the gold in the women's 55kg final against Dulguun Bolormaa of Mongolia.

Another Indian Wrestler Sarita Mor won the gold in the women's 59 kg final against Battsetseg Atlantsetseg of Mongolia.
