Jumbo Floating Restaurant sank on Sunday in the South China Sea, according to the owners of the restaurant. One week before it sank, the restaurant had left the city for an unknown location. Less than a week after it was taken out of the city, the restaurant sank in the South China Sea.

On Saturday, the restaurant was crossing the South China Sea near the Paracel Islands when it ran into “unfavourable conditions.” The boat began to tilt when the water got into it. The owners said that no one was hurt, but that their attempts to get the boat back didn’t work, and it sank.
