Kashmir colleges open after 66 days
Recommended for Secondary Grades
Hey, knowledge seeker! Today, we have a super interesting story about a faraway place called Kashmir Valley. It’s a place with a lot of history and importance. So, let’s get started!
Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, something called Article 370 was in place in Kashmir Valley. It made things a bit different there, and then one day, the government decided to change it and take it away. When that happened, things got a bit topsy-turvy. People were trying to restore their normal life, and tourists were waiting to come back to visit.
Kashmir Resilience: A Tale of Hope and Change
- In Kashmir Valley, the schools and colleges had to close for 66 whole days after the change happened. That’s a really long time to be away from school! But guess what? The government finally decided to open all the colleges and higher educational institutions on October 9, 2019. That’s a big step towards getting things back on track!
- But wait, there’s more! The government asked the colleges to help the students catch up on the topics they missed during those 66 days. That’s really nice of them, don’t you think? They want to make sure the students get all the knowledge they need.
- However, when they tried to open the schools a month before that, not many students came back. Why, you ask? Well, some parents felt that the atmosphere in the valley still wasn’t quite right for sending their children to school. Safety is super important, right?
- So, while the colleges are open now, things are still a bit different in the valley. The public transport isn’t running as usual, and most markets open only for a short time in the morning. It’s like a little adventure, isn’t it?
- But guess what? People are not giving up! Many private vehicles can be seen on the roads, and that’s a good sign that things are slowly getting better.
- Now, we can learn a lot from this story. First of all, we see that sometimes things can change in a place, and it can affect the everyday lives of people, including going to school. It’s essential for the government and everyone else to work together to make sure everyone is safe and happy.
- And you know what’s super cool? People never lose hope. Even when things are tough, they keep going, and step by step, they try to make things better. We should always remember to be resilient and strong like the people in Kashmir Valley.
- So, my little friend, that’s the latest story from Kashmir Valley. It’s a place with a lot of history and significance, and even though things might not be completely back to normal yet, people are working hard to make it better. And that’s something we can all learn from – to never give up and to always look out for each other!
- We hope you enjoyed the story, and remember, we can make the world a better place too, just like the people in Kashmir Valley!
