Scientists, led by the renowned astronomer Mitsunori Ozaki of Kanazawa University, along with a dedicated team from Japan and France, unveiled the mystery. Even though it’s not yet circling the planet, it has passed by Mercury in 2021 and 2022. We are already learning new and exciting things about the planet’s magnetic field because of this.
