Missing cat reunites with owner after 5 yearsWe have been reading animal-friendly stories. Recently we read about the brave goat who friended a tiger.

Now, a cat who went missing for five years has been reunited with its owner.

Sasha is a black cat who disappeared from Portland, US five years ago.
 	After five long years, the cat's owner, Viktor Usov got a call from an animal shelter in New Mexico, which is about 2000 km away from Portland.
 	The animal shelter informed Utsov about a long-haired black cat which belonged to him.
 	Usov refused to believe them until they told him about the microchip, found under the cat's skin.
 	In order to be sure, both the parties also exchanged pictures and shared the cat's likings and habits.
 	After all this, Sasha and Usov finally got reunited.
 	Microchips, which store identification numbers for pets and contact information for the owners, are often injected under pets' skin.

According to Usov, Sasha is a very adventurous cat, who loves being outdoors.
