PM Narendra Modi inaugurates houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna(PMAY)
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates 5.21 lakh houses in Madhya Pradesh. He participated in the Grah Pravesham ceremony to hand new houses to their owners.

What is Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna)PMAY)?
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana(PMAY) is an initiative by the Government of India in which affordable houses will be provided to the poor people.
The government has a target to build 2 crore houses by 31st March 2022. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the house-warming programme on video conferencing. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chauhanparticipated in the house-warming programme.
Nal-Jal scheme will provide pure water connection to 6 crore Indian families as announced by Narendra Modi. Prime Minister also called the people to construct 75 Amrit Sarovar(ponds) in every district of the country over the next year.
