National Endangered Species Day!
Recommended for Important Days
Every year on the third Friday of May we celebrate National Endangered Species Day. This day is meant to educate people about the plight of animals and plants that are in danger of going extinct.
In addition, the day hopes to make people more aware of the problem of extinction. So that they will take steps to protect the species that are affected. Because many of the species are now considered endangered.
They are in danger of going extinct because of what people do, like hunt them for no reason, cause global warming, and other things.
