Now how about having an experience of the Harapppans kitchen and its food?

The National Museum, Delhi is going to provide a historic dining experience straight from the Indus Valley Civilization (Harappan Civilization).

A 7 -day exhibition (from 19 to 25 February), titled ‘Historical Gastronomica: the Harappan Dining Experience' is happening at the Museum.
 	It will showcase panels on the kitchens, cookware and food of the Indus Valley Civilisation.
 	The event will also offer a 'food walk' within the premises, and visitors can participate in the event by making pre-bookings.
 	The menu for the event is designed as per the theme, where the ingredients are identified by the archaeologists and researchers.

What will the menu have?

The menu includes both a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian dish.
 	Additionally, it also has beverages, pickles and bread made from ingredients found by archaeologists at the Indus Valley sites.
 	The menu will change every day, but dishes like chickpeas, moong (green gram), brown sesame seed and jaggery laddoos will be there all the time.
 	The dishes will include red rice porridge, fish in a turmeric stew, sweet rice with banana and honey, and ragi laddoos.
