Well, Neil Armstrong certainly would know about it. He was the first man ever to walk on the Moon!

Neil Alden Armstrong was born in Wapakoneta, US on 5th August 1930.
 	Armstrong’s passion for flights ignited when he took his first aeroplane ride at age 6. 
 	He was active in the Boy Scouts of America and earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank given to a scout.
 	Armstrong became a licensed pilot at the age of 16 and a naval air cadet in 1947.
 	He graduated as an aeronautical engineer at Purdue University.
 	Thereafter, Armstrong started working for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

On 16th July 1969, Armstrong, along with Edwin 'Buzz' E. Aldrin and Michael Collins, started their journey in the Apollo 11 vehicle towards the Moon.

On 20th July 1969, Armstrong stepped onto the Moon’s  surface with these famous words, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
