‘Ouch’ monkey wins Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2021Have you read about the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards? This is a competition held every year which invites photographers around the world to send pictures of the funny side of wild animals.

This year as well, there were many exciting entries for the contest. They received over 7000 entries out of which they chose 42 finalists. Some of the finalists include a grey seal pup that appears to be giggling and a boxfish that looks like it’s pouting at the camera.

Now, the wait is over and the winner is Ken Jensen, a photographer from Blackburn. He was named the overall winner for his amazing photograph of a Golden Silk Monkey entitled 'Ouch!'. The photo, taken in Yunnan, China, shows a monkey in a very uncomfortable position.
Other winners of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2021

Other winning photos include a pigeon with a leaf on its face. And images of a young elephant having fun in the mud at the Matusadona Park, Zimbabwe.

Also, this year, among the many winners (in different categories) is Rahul Lakhmani from India. His video of a White Throated Kingfisher, titled 'Hugging Best Friend After Lockdown', was picked as the 2021 Video Category winner.
