The science behind the puppy dog eyes

Hey! We all know that dogs are human’s best friends. Do you know how they make the aww-so-adorable faces that we find cute?

How do dogs make adorable faces?

Scientists have suggested that dogs have extra muscle fibres around their eyes and mouths. Those muscles allow them to make facial expressions that humans find adorable.

Dogs are unique creatures as they reciprocate the actions of their owners. They make adorable faces , responding to what humans say to them.

Dogs have a higher percentage of fast-twitch fibres in their facial muscles. The fast-twitch fibres help the canines to make attention-seeking expressions and make them more familiar to human beings.

Moreover, the fast-twitching muscles also help the dogs to produce sharp barks, which they can use in getting their owner’s attention or protecting their home.

Isn’t it adorable? Those puppy dog eyes and the playful barks. Do you own pets? Share your pet story with us in the comments below.
