Hey there! Get ready for an inspiring tale about a remarkable student named Sinam Jaiphabi Chanu from Cachar. It’s a story filled with rain, shine, and lots of pedaling on a bicycle! So buckle up and let’s dive into the adventure!
Pedaling Persistence: Sinam’s Story
- Once upon a time, on a rainy morning of May 22, the people of Silchar were overjoyed! Why, you ask? Well, it turns out that three talented students from their city had scored amazing marks in a special test called the High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLCE). Can you imagine their excitement? But wait, there’s more!
- Among all the brilliant students, there was one shining star named Sinam Jaiphabi Chanu. She attended a school called Holy Cross School in a place called Kabuganj. Now, this Holy Cross School wasn’t the famous one that everyone knew. Nope! It was the lesser-known one, but that didn’t stop Sinam from achieving great things!
- You see, Sinam lived in a place called Chanpur GP in Sonai Legislative Assembly Constituency. It was so far away that it took a reporter from Barak Bulletin more than an hour to reach her house. That’s a long journey, especially when you have to navigate through bumpy roads and cross a river. But guess what? Sinam’s story wasn’t just about her fantastic marks.
- Sinam had a younger brother who also went to school, and their mother was a housewife while their father made a living by renting out his truck. And you know what the most incredible part was? Sinam rode her bicycle for a whopping seven kilometers every single day, no matter if it was raining or shining!
- Can you imagine that? Rain or shine, she hopped on her trusty bicycle and peddled all the way to school. That’s what we call determination and dedication, folks! Sinam didn’t take any shortcuts either. While her friends might have gone to private tuition classes, she studied hard at home. She even did meditation in the morning and went for a run every evening. Now that’s some serious commitment!
- But guess what? Sinam only went for private tuition for a short time, just before the examination. She worked hard on her own and sought guidance from a teacher for those 20 days. Isn’t that impressive? Her neighbour’s shared that her family was facing financial difficulties, and they were worried about her future education. But you know what? Sinam’s humble background didn’t hold her back. She saw opportunities in adversity!
- In fact, Sinam dreams of becoming a Software Engineer. Once her father returns, she plans to talk to him about her future plans. Becoming an engineer won’t be easy, but Sinam is prepared to face the challenges that come her way.
- So little friends, what can we learn from Sinam’s story? Well, we can see that hard work, determination, and a sprinkle of humor can help us overcome any obstacle. No matter what the weather is like or where we come from, we can achieve great things if we believe in ourselves and pedal through life with a smile.
