‘Sakina Halal Grill’, a restaurant in US gives away free food for needy!

'Sakina Halal Grill' is a restaurant owned by Kazi Mannan. It is located near the White House, Washington DC, US.

Apart from its delicious food, it is famous for offering free food to the needy.

About restaurant 'Sakina Halal Grill'

It offers Indian-Pakistani-Nepalese cuisine with delicious food at affordable prices and has friendly staff.
 	It is named in the memory of Kazi's mother Sakina.
 	From the first day itself, free food is offered to those who need without any questions asked.
 	Anybody can walk in and request a sit-down or take away.
 	Last year, they served 16,000 free meals and this year expecting to serve 22,000.

About Kazi Mannan

He grew up in poverty in a small village in Pakistan.
 	He says that his mother taught him since childhood about the importance of helping those who have less.
 	He believes in giving back to the community in whatever possible way.
