Scientists discover a tiny dinosaur belonging to New Mexico

Scientists have discovered a very tiny dinosaur, which has been given a very big name "Suskityrannus hazelae"!

Its skeleton was found more than 20 years ago in New Mexico
 	Paleontologists* studied this mysterious dinosaur species for years. They were trying to fit it within known dinosaur species
 	This creature had lived about 92 million years ago
 	It had some resemblance to giant tyrannosaurs (see image below) that ruled the earth around 80-60 million years ago
 	But the dino was so tiny that scientists were left wondering.

Now after much study, it has been identified as a cousin of the famous Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex).

Those of you who have seen Jurassic Park, will know what the T-Rex is all about - a giant and ferocious creature.
 	The S. Hazelae is reported as 3 feet tall at the hip and 9 feet in length — just a bit longer than the skull of its full-grown fearsome cousin!

This discovery has helped scientists understand the the evolution of tyrannosauroids* before they reached enormous (big) sizes.

*Paleontologists - Scientists who study remains (fossils) of ancient plants and animals and other organisms

*Tyrannosauroids - Family name of a group meat-eating dinosaurs, including Tyrannosaurs Rex

Wow the dinosaur is very cute and I am very sure that they will die very soon. We need to save them and treat them nicely. If you need my help I am always open to it
