Simone Biles breaks World Gymnastics Championships medals record

Simone Biles breaks World Gymnastics Championships medals recordRecently, we read about the United States' Simone Biles breaking the women's record at the 2019 World Gymnastics Championships.

On Sunday, she became the most decorated gymnast in the World Gymnastics Championships' history. She has surpassed Vitaly Scherbo’s record of 23 medals.

Now, Simone Biles has 25 medals overall at the World Gymnastics Championships.

She won gold for the vault, the balance beam and floor exercises categories. She had previously also won her fifth all-around world title.
 	Her wins are considered to be even more incredible because of her increasingly intricate and complicated routines, which are not easy to attempt.
 	This World Championship is likely to be 22-year-old Biles' last one.

After breaking the World Gymnastic Championships record, she said she is preparing for the Tokyo Olympics 2020, which will be her final Olympics.

Biles now has 30 medals in World Championships and Olympics, three short of Scherbo's overall record.
