Sriya Lenka was born in Rourkela in 2003. She is trained in Hindustani classical music and other forms of contemporary dance. Sriya’s grandmother helped her find a Hindustani classical music teacher who taught her twice a week. But she learned the western songs all by herself.
In May 2021, DR Music announced an audition. Sriya Lenka from India and Gabriela Dalcin were chosen amongst the finalists among 4,00o applicants to train with the Blackswan band in Seoul.
The young ladies underwent intense training processes which included standard vocal, rap and dance lessons. Moreover, the training included personal training, language and musical instruments. Ms Sriya and Ms Gabriela will be in Seoul for the next few months for the practice.
With Sriya and Gabriela’s debut, Blackswan will come with a new Blackswan band. Isn’t it inspirational?
