The sun is blazing and we need to keep cool.

Did you know that some food help us to fight the heat and keep a cool body and mind?

Try eating and drinking more of these food items and see for yourself

Curd  -  You can have it like 'raita' or drink it as 'lassi'
 	Buttermilk  -  This is called 'chaach' in Hindi
 	Coconut water - This is full of vitamins and nutrients too
 	Seasonal Fruits

Watermelon
 	Musk Melon
 	Litchi

Vegetables with high water content

Cucumber  -  A cooling and crunchy summer salad food
 	Gourds  -  Like Ghiya (bottle gourd), Parval (pointed gourd)
 	Pumpkin - 'Kaddu' is very cooling in summer

It is also very important to make sure that Summer Clothing tips are followed to help fight the heat.
