Hey there, kiddo! Let us tell you an inspiring and heartwarming story about the World University Games!

Once upon a time in Chengdu, China, there was a special sports event called the FISU Summer World University Games. And guess what? India was there, ready to show their amazing skills!

India Shines! A Heartwarming Victory at World University Games

  • On the very first day of the Games, India won not one, not two, but three shiny gold medals! Oh boy, that was quite a start!
  • The Indian Women’s team, with super talented Manu Bhaker, Yashaswini Deswal, and Abhidnya Patil, showed everyone how good they are at shooting. They won the gold in the 10m Air Pistol event! Bang, bang, bullseye! They beat China and Iran and made everyone proud.
  • But wait, there’s more! Manu Bhaker was on fire! She said, “I want another shiny gold!” And you know what? She did it! Manu won the gold medal all by herself in the women’s individual 10m Air Pistol. That’s some fantastic shooting right there!
  • Next up, we had another shooting star, Elavenil Valarivan. She aimed for the sky and got a fantastic score of 252.5 in the 10m air rifle event. And guess what? She snatched the third gold medal for India! Way to go, Elavenil!
  • Now, guess who’s leading the gold medal charts? India! Yes, sir! India is at the top with those shiny gold medals, making everyone cheer with joy.
  • But hey, shooting wasn’t the only game where India showed their talent. Archery was also in the mix! Pragati and Aman Saini were like superheroes in the compound mixed team event. They shot their arrows with precision and got to the final match! Whoosh, whoosh, bullseye! They beat France and China and will face Korea in the ultimate showdown. Go, go, Team India!
  • Well, not all the archers had the same luck, but that’s okay. Sometimes we win, and sometimes we learn. It’s all part of the game, and they gave their best shot!
  • In the end, everyone was laughing, cheering, and feeling really happy. India showed the world their shooting skills and archery talents. They made their country proud, and that’s what matters the most.
  • So, my little friend, remember to always aim high, just like Manu, Elavenil, Pragati, and Aman. You can be a shining star too, in whatever you love to do! Keep practicing, and who knows, maybe one day, we’ll be reading about you winning gold medals at the World University Games!
