Video: Drone captures amazing view of world’s highest waterfall

Recommended for Foundational Grades

Recently, a famous drone pilot named Van Jason used a drone to capture a video of the world’s tallest waterfall. This is the Angel Falls in Venezuela, South America.

What is a drone?

A drone is an unpiloted aircraft. It performs a variety of tasks from military operations to package delivery.

Drones are also known as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The size of the drones can vary from a large aircraft to one just the size of your palm. With their ability to fly high, drones help pilots to take clear pictures and videos.

The drone pilot, Van Jason has pictured many beautiful sites. So this video of the Angel Falls waterfall is the latest one of his many amazing works.

Picturing the Angel Falls

Van Jason visited Venezuela’s Canaima National Park in the month of  July and recorded a breathtakingly beautiful view of the world’s tallest waterfall. Angel Falls is 3212 feet long in height. Jason dived his drone down to 2648 feet to the base of the waterfall to record the beautiful waterfall. The dive to the base of the waterfall took roughly 17 seconds to complete. Waterdrops splashed the camera occasionally as the drone flew very close to the surface of the waterfall.
