Picnics at the Buckingham Palace? You are in luck!

What is the Buckingham Palace?

This is a famous palace in London, United Kingdom. It is where the Queen or King of the United Kingdom lives. The palace has 775 rooms. Its garden is the largest private garden in London.

Usually, visitors can visit some of the rooms in the palace for a few months a year, with official guides. But for the first time in history, visitors do not need official guides. This summer, visitors will be allowed able to freely roam the gardens of Buckingham Palace.

Visitors will have to buy tickets to visit the garden from July to September. They will be allowed to even picnic in the beautiful garden. The garden is home to 1,000 trees and 320 different wildflowers and grasses.

Since the announcement, tickets have become highly in demand. If you cannot visit, you can still catch the live tours online.
