This is a very contradicting statement. People feel that technology is very useful nowadays. It connects us to different parts of the world, simplifies our work and does many other things. In the world running for lockdowns, it is the only saviour of many jobs and education too.

On the other hand, some people believe that technology might seem to be all wonderful but in the long run, it is a disaster for humankind. It is very useful, does a huge amount of work in very little time. It works totally according to us. But it sometimes causes harm to the people, like the inventions of atom bombs have already destroyed many lives and its impact can be seen till date.

Technology and Creativity

Technology created computers, which hugely helped the working class. It also helped the children to enhance their learning ability. It gave children the opportunity to do search concepts. We can now do exams, self-assessment tests and getting instant feedback too.

Technology also helps in connecting to different parts of the world, taking out information. Computers are used in monitoring, programming, improve telecommunications, etc.

Technology and Its Perils

On one hand, computers are very useful, on the other hand, they have changed the lifestyles of people. People sit in one place for hours, and it makes them lazy. Through computers, people perform activities like hacking and cybercrime. They take out useful data from the computers of different people and misuse it. Terrorists use the internet to send and receive map-coded information. Intelligent professionals break into the records of any company.

Doctors use computers to do a CT scan, detect anomalies, and see if the fetus in the mother’s womb is in proper health. It is also misused when people want to abort their children. People should have a mature approach to using tech and have some parameters and social ethics.

Technology has hugely helped us create the vaccines for covid1-19. The vaccines, which took years of scientific efforts have now become possible in 1 year.

I think there is a lot of power in technology, all we have to do is use it for human good. Humanity should be above technology.
