Yuzvendra Chahal, an Indian spinner, took his 300th wicket in T20 cricket on 2nd April. His team, the Rajasthan Royals (RR), played the Sunrisers Hyderabad.  Chahal took 4/17 in his four overs.

Chahal’s highest bowling score in this competition is 6/25. Further, he has taken 303 wickets overall across 265 matches. An average of 23.60 and an economy rate of 7.58 is quite an impressive feat as per cricket experts.

  • Chahal is also important in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) because he has taken the third-most wickets.
  • He has taken 170 wickets in 132 matches, an average of 21.41.
  • In IPL, Chahal’s best bowling score is 5/40.
  • He has played in the league for the Rajasthan Royals, the Royal Challengers Bangalore, and the Mumbai Indians.
  • Chahal has also helped India do well in Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket.
  • In 72 matches, he has taken 121 wickets, with an average of 27.13 and an economy rate of 5.26.
  • In the shorter version of the game, he has the best bowling performance for India at 6/42.
  • Chahal has been an important part of the Indian cricket team. In addition, the IPL teams he has played for have appreciated his consistent performance.
