Stay Strong, Gujarat! Help Is on the Way!

Recommended for Preparatory Grades

Guess what? There’s a big, bad storm called Cyclone Biparjoy heading towards Gujarat! But don’t worry, the grown-ups are on high alert and doing some serious superhero stuff to keep everyone safe.

They’re moving people to cool temporary shelters, having important meetings, and even our Prime Minister is involved! Gujarat is in good hands, and we’ll get through this storm with their help!

Important Details

  • Superhero teams are here to the rescue! Gujarat has 21 teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and 13 teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) ready to save the day in the coastal districts. They’ve even shifted over 7,000 people to temporary shelters. But wait, there’s more!

  • The central government called in reinforcements from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard to join the action. They’re working together with local heroes to rescue and restore. And get this, 15 extra teams are on standby in Gujarat, ready to swoop in and airlift if needed.

  • Oh, and did you know that about 441 villages near the coast are going to get a bit wet? Don’t worry, though. Authorities are already on the scene, making sure everything’s under control. Trains are taking a break, and the port authorities are waving their warning flags.

  • The weather experts even gave an Orange alert for June 14 and a Red alert for June 15. So, let’s stay safe and listen to their advice. Together, we’ll face this challenge head-on and help everyone stay happy and secure. Remember, we’re all in this together!”
