- In India, the minimum qualification required to be a veterinarian is a Bachelor’s in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.
- You can study for this degree after finishing Class 12th in science with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- You also have the option to do a Master’s degree later and specialize in various like wildlife medicine, conservation, Exotic animal veterinary, surgeon, etc.
- A vet has a very high responsibility because, unlike humans, animals cannot express where or why they are in pain.
- So a vet must be observant and gentle with a high sense of empathy.
