Happy Teacher’s Day Cards: Handmade with Love

Ah, Teacher’s Day! A time to celebrate those who kindle the flame of knowledge and inspire us to reach for the stars. And what better way to express our appreciation than with a handmade Teacher’s Day card?

Today, we’re showcasing a delightful creation by Miss Prashikha from Delhi Public School Jankipuram, Lucknow. Prashikha, your kid’s artwork brought a smile to my face. The cheerful teacup, brimming with warmth and a touch of whimsy, is a testament to your creativity.

Art for Kids: DIY Teacup Card

Inspired by Prashikha’s masterpiece? Here’s a fun art project for all you budding artists out there!

Materials:

  • Cardstock or construction paper
  • Colored pencils, crayons, or markers
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Optional: glitter, stickers, ribbon

Instructions:

  1. Teacup Template: Cut out a teacup shape from your cardstock. Get creative! You could make it round, curvy, or even a bit wonky.
  2. Colorful Details: Decorate your teacup with vibrant colors and patterns. Add a cheerful face, some steam rising from the top, or even a tiny teabag tag.
  3. “Tea”-rrific Message: Write a heartfelt message inside your card. Let your teacher know how much you appreciate them.
  4. Finishing Touches: Add some sparkle with glitter or stickers. A ribbon handle can be a charming addition too!
